TxDOT is hosting a series of open house public meetings to introduce potential opportunity areas for the future I-14 corridor and gather feedback from local communities within the Study area from Rogers in Bell County to Huntsville in Walker County. This is the second round of public open houses for this Study, and they will contain the same Study information and exhibits. Attendees will be able to come and go as they please to review Study materials, ask questions, and share comments in an open-house format.
Due to Hurricane Beryl in early July, the in-person open houses originally scheduled in Madisonville and Huntsville were postponed. The Huntsville Open House will be held today at the Walker County Fair Grounds. The Madisonville Open House will be held on August 22, 2024 at the Truman Kimbro Center. Both Open Houses will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited to share comments in-person, online, via email, by mail, voicemail, or text. All comments must be received or postmarked by Friday, September 6, 2024 to be included in the open house record and may be submitted by:
