If you’re interested in serving your city, Mayor Russel Humphrey passed along at the last regular Huntsville City Council session, that to become a city council candidate for the upcoming 2024 election, filing is underway and continues to August 19th.
Four at-large positions are open for filing for the November 5th election. The City’s website shows that:
–Incumbent Bert Lyle and Erin Owens have filed for the At-Large Position 1.
–Incumbent Karen Denman has filed for the At-Large Position 2.
–Incumbent Vicki McKenzie has filed for At-Large Position 3.
–Amanda Hope, Bridget Maloney and Robby Logan have filed for At-Large Position 4.
