Mark your calendars. Coming up August 8th from 2 to 3 PM at the Huntsville Public Library everyone is invited to join the National Museum of the Pacific War for their program titled, “Gear Up Before Loading Up.” Museum Education Engagement Coordinator Bryan Degner will discuss and share WWII gear and equipment issued to soldiers, Marines and Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) during the war. During the 50-minute presentation those attending will see WWII artifacts up close and in some cases touch, hold, or even put them on. Mr. Degner will also share information about the museum located in Fredericksburg and the educational resources they offer, https://www.pacificwarmuseum.org/.
