The Courier of Montgomery County reports that, with summer getting underway, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Margaritaville Lake Resort,Tom Faust, says they are getting ready to host 1,000 guests each day.
Faust passed along that the resort features 335 suites.
Encompassing 186 lakefront acres, the resort has available an 18-hole golf course, five pools and a lazy river, a dozen cabanas around the pool, a salon and spa, boat rentals and cruises at sunset.
Magic shows and axe throwing are two new activities they have added for their guests entertainment.
On Saturdays, the magic shows are available through August 31st. Harry Maurer, Atlantic City Entertainer of the Year Award Nominee will perform. A rotating number of other magicians will be featured. Tickets are available at $60 for general admission and $75 for VIP.
On the Palm Court, axe throwing is being featured. Tickets run from $20 per person to $129 for a family pass.
Faust said about 80 percent of guests come from the Houston region.
