Community Impact reports that during a March 19th meeting of the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees, five new principals have been approved. Also, for several renovation projects in the district a few construction managers have been approved.
Adding up their total years spent working for CISD, Superintendent Curtis Null said it totaled 109 years.
The new principal list includes:
–Rian Stepp at Milam Elementary
–Kristen Belcher at Stewart Elementary School
–Pamela Britton at Travis Intermediate School
–Joshua Hughes at McCullough Junior High School
–Dennis Muehsler at The Woodlands High School Ninth-Grade Campus
In August, of 2024 the new principals will begin their jobs.
Construction companies were approved by trustees for five renovation projects. Back in 2023, one of the projects was given approval in the 2023 bond.
Managing construction companies and projects include:
Satterfield and Pontikis Construction for the Oak Ridge High School Ninth Grade Campus
Anslow-Bryant Construction for Snyder and Tough elementary schools and Collins Intermediate School
Teal Construction for Armstrong, Austin, Birnham Woods and Broadway elementary schools
G.T.T. Construction for Deretchin, Kaufman, and Oak Ridge elementary schools
G.T.T. Construction for Milam, Houston and Runyan elementary schools
At their February 20th meeting, CISD approved construction to get underway on two new 2023 bond schools—the Highway 242 elementary project and the Woodlands High School feeder elementary project.
