The Courier of Montgomery County reports that there are several things for kids and adults to do coming up in Conroe.
Running April 6th through May 11th, the Conroe Youth Volleyball League is being offered for boys and girls ages 6 to 13. It costs $75, and if you’re a resident of Conroe, you get 25% off. At the Westside Recreation Center, teammates will practice and play games on a weekly basis. The deadline to register is February 23rd. On Saturday, March 23rd, everyone is invited to bring their family to the Carl Barton Jr. Park Softball Complex from 10 AM to Noon for “Morning with Mr. Bunny.” It’s a free event. Kids from 18 months to 10 years old are invited to the egg hunts starting at 10:15 AM. The event will also feature face painting, a bounce house, giant bubble fun and Mr. Bunny. Running through the school year 2024, before and after school programs are underway for certain area schools in Conroe. For additional program details and registration call 936-522-3960.
Ongoing fitness classes are available. A number of fitness exercise classes are being offered by the City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department at the C.K. Ray and Westside Recreation Centers.
