Our guest on our “Around Town” public affairs program over the weekend was the Director of the Texas Prison Museum in Huntsville, David Stacks.
The museum reflects what offenders have created, as well as also presenting articles tied to Texas prison history.
Mr. Stacks passed along that they “have the electric chair. That is a big draw. That chair was used from 1920 forward to 1964.”
The museum opens at ten in the morning and closes at five, Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, they are open from 12 noon to five. They are closed on major holidays.
