In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Saturday, in the 3600 block of Montgomery Road, firearms were stolen in a vehicle burglary. A known suspect failed to return a vehicle in the 500 block of 13th Street. An unknown suspect fired a gun into a residence on White Circle. In the 600 block of State Highway 30, Janiyah Wortham was arrested for assault on a peace officer, harassment of a public servant, resisting and public intoxication.
On Sunday, in a case of aggravated robbery, an unknown suspect robbed a person at gunpoint in the 1200 block of Sycamore Avenue. In the 100 block of I-45 South, a person overdosed on narcotics and was transported to Huntsville Memorial Hospital. An unknown suspect was reported to have robbed a person in the 300 block of Watkins Street.
On Monday, a business was burglarized in the 2700 block of Lake Road. In the 100 block of I-45 North, a trailer was stolen. A package was reported stolen in the 2100 block of Sycamore Avenue. A possibly known suspect stole property in the 100 block of Price Lane. A known suspect shot a person’s dog in the 700 block of Avenue G.
On Tuesday, in the 700 block of Quail Hollow Drive, a license plate was stolen. In the 200 block of I-45 South, Merchandise was reported stolen. Three other thefts were reported—one in the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, the second in the 1300 block of 15th Street and the third in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road.
On Wednesday, at the 128 mile marker on I-45, Marius Iordan was arrested for engaging in organized crime, failure to ID as a fugitive, evading arrest, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and multiple out-of-state felony warrants.. At the same address, Jesus Mendez was arrested for engaging in organized crime, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Also, Stefan Patrascanu was arrested for engaging in criminal activity and failure to ID.
