The Courier of Montgomery County reports that the 170-acre master-planned community Rockrose Ranch, located off Calvary Road and I-45 in Willis, is planning to soon offer a large amenity center complex.
The new amenity center for the 700-unit manufactured home community had a groundbreaking on November 3rd. The center will offer adult community amenities for ages 55 and over and a community for people of all ages.
According to their press release, the amenity center complex is scheduled to complete construction by August of 2024.
The amenities for the all-ages community will be a family-friendly pool, walking trails, a dog park, a playground and a picnic pavilion. The gated community for ages 55 and over will offer pickleball and bocce ball courts and a heated lap pool. The community’s facility called The Farmhouse will have an art studio, fitness center and areas for people to gather.
Another plus for the 55 and older community is a lifestyle director. That person will be put in charge of a fun schedule of things to do like dancing, yoga, hikes, and arts and crafts. Rockrose Ranch is a little under two miles from Lake Conroe which makes fishing, boating and water sports available.
