Walker County voters can expect to receive new voter registration certificates before the end of the year. All voters currently registered to vote in the state of Texas will automatically receive a new voter registration certificate valid through December 2025.
To prevent any issues when appearing to vote next year, voters need to verify that all information printed on their certificate is accurate. If no changes are needed, the voter should sign and retain the new certificate for their records. Do not return accurate voter registration certificates to the voter registrar.
If changes are necessary, go to http://www.VoteTexas.gov and select “Am I Registered?”; or
- Visit the Walker County Voter Registration Department, or
- Make corrections to the backside of the voter registration certificate, and mail it to the Walker County Voter Registrar.
