The Courier of Montgomery County reports that Montgomery County will be filled with a number of ways to celebrate Halloween this month.
On October 28th, First Methodist Church of Conroe off Texas 105 is having a “Trunk or Treat” candy event. They’ll have hot dogs, a best decorative trunk contest, face-painting and balloon artists.
On October 27th, “Halloween at the Y” will be underway at the YMCA at Branch Crossing in The Woodlands off the Woodlands Parkway. They’ll have “trunk ‘n treat shops,” games, a glow party and music.
On October 21st, the “Trick & Treats Fall Fair” will be hosted by the East Montgomery County Improvement District at Market Place Drive in New Caney near Hobby Lobby. This free event offers more than 40 local businesses and vendors, a costume contest, dunk tank and a magic show.
On October 28th, Margarita Lake Resort in Montgomery will feature events for kids and adults. Kids and their families will be able to go trick-or-treating around the resort. There will be games and activities, pumpkin painting and a spooky movie night.
On October 31st, the 2nd Annual Sugar-Free Trick-or-Treat Trail will be hosted by Magnolia Meadows for diabetic children. It’s off Dobbin Huffsmith Road in Magnolia. They’ll have a bounce house, an inflatable maze and snacks.
