At last Wednesday’s regular meeting of the Walker County Hospital District Board of Managers, board members voted on setting a proposed tax rate.
Chair Anne Woodard passed along that the No New Revenue Rate is at .090, and the Voter Approval Rate is going to be at .100.
She also commented:
Board members approved the proposed tax rate of .097. The rate and info goes into the local newspaper for a specific number of days, and then a date in the evening will be set for one public input meeting.
