101.7 KSAM and 94.1 & 104.9 The Lake is seeking a part-time team member. They will be responsible for supporting station events and interacting with our listening audience. Must be dependable and have a positive personality.
Internship credit available for Mass Communications students (ask for details).
The following opportunities are open for work (candidate will fill multiple roles):
- Board Op/Producer In-Station
- Remote broadcast assistant/Greeter
- KSAM Sports Broadcast Engineer
- Sports Camera Operators
Qualifications
-Minimum age of 18.
-Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
-Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, early mornings, nights, and holidays.
-Clean professional appearance.
-Computer/Digital savvy. Ability to learn broadcast console operations.
-Represent the stations at a wide variety of events.
-Ability to work independently at times.
-Always have a positive attitude while working, regardless of other issues.
-Participate in staff meetings and planning sessions.
-Help with occasional in-office duties.
-Must be quick on your feet and overcome unforeseen obstacles as they happen.
-Must be able to stand and be active for long periods of time.
-Lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
-Work outside in all-weather types.
