Title: KSAM/KHVL Sales & Marketing Internship
Reports to: Tim Johnson, General Manager, HEH Communications
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of sales meetings
- Assist in the production of sales and marketing materials
- Meet with clients and potential clients to develop campaigns
- Participate in the planning of station marketing events
- Attend and participate in station events
- Recap meetings in writing, highlighting key decisions
- Recap station marketing events including suggestions for improvement
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
- Must be a SHSU student in good standing in an appropriate discipline
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean record
- Must be willing to take direction and learn new skills
Commitment:
- Approximately 8 to 15 hours per week, no more than 50 hours per month
- Internship Program term:
- August 20 – May 15
