In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, an unknown suspect broke into storage trailers in the 200 block of 2821 East and stole a large amount of tools. In the 100 block of U.S. 190 East, known suspects defrauded a victim of money. In the 900 block of 15th Street, an unknown suspect stole “frat letters” out of a yard. In a case of invasive visual recording in the 1000 block of 8th Street, a known juvenile recorded digital images of a victim in a restroom. In a case of criminal mischief, a possibly known suspect damaged a vehicle in the 1300 block of Smither. In the 600 block of I-45 South, Joshua Anthony Cerda and James Cerda Jr. were arrested on out-of-county warrants. They were also arrested on multiple drug charges.. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Victor Webb was arrested for possession of marijuana.
On Friday, an assault was investigated in the 200 block of I-45.
On Saturday, in the 1400 block of Nottingham St. a possibly known suspect stole property from a vehicle. In a case of aggravated assault, in the 200 block of Louis Davis Drive, a known suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at the victim. Corday Terrell was arrested in the 200 block of I-45 South for theft. Cristian Zelaya was cited and released for theft in the 200 block of I-45 South.
On Sunday, in the 100 block of Josey Street, in a case of criminal mischief, a known suspect damaged property. In a case of aggravated assault, at 6th and MLK, a known suspect allegedly struck the victim with a butt of a gun. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Windsor. A known suspect assaulted a person in the 2600 block of El Toro. In the 1600 block of Sycamore, Jerrod Spivey was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon and public intoxication. Dionte Jones was arrested for aggravated assault in family violence in the 200 block of FM 980. In the 200 block of I-45 South. Floyd Sanders Jr. was arrested for evading, resisting arrest and a warrant for a felony bond violation warrant. Gabriel Williams was arrested for interfering and resisting in the 1200 block of Trinity Cut Off.
