In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days.
Last Thursday, a residential burglary was investigated in the 1100 block of Avenue N. A case of organized retail theft was investigated in the 1500 block of 11th Street. Huntsville Police assisted the Walker County Sheriff’s Office with an assault report in the first 100 block of Horace Smith. An unknown suspect stole a vehicle in the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 600 block of FM 2821 West, Napoleon Agnew was arrested for an HPD warrant on assault with a deadly weapon. In the 800 block of State Highway 19, Charles Branford was arrested for reckless driving.
On Friday, police investigated a stolen vehicle case in the 7000 block of Highway 75 South. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Marshall Wood was arrested for public intoxication, interfering with public duties and resisting arrest. Nakia Ashley was arrested for criminal trespass in the 600 block of FM 2821 West. Trent Randal Sterling was arrested for DWI and the unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 600 block of FM 2821. In the 600 block of 8th Street, Davanta Raymond Coxsey was arrested for tampering with physical evidence, possession of marijuana, driving while license invalid-previous conviction and possession of drug paraphernalia. In the 100 block of I-45, Kyle Lytle was arrested for theft and released.
On Saturday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1200 block of I-45. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston, unknown suspects assaulted a victim. In the 100 block of I-45 South, John Michael Gardner was arrested for a TDCJ parole violation warrants for murder and possession of a controlled substance. Israel Guillermo was arrested for violation of a protective order. Alexander Ray Granados was arrested for DUI-minor and reckless driving.
On Sunday, Huntsville PD assisted the Walker County Sheriff’s Office with a K-9 search in the 2900 block of State Highway 19.
Early Monday, at the 127 mile marker on I 45 North, Amanda Nolan was arrested for DWI with 1 previous conviction and for fleeing.
