In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Friday, an unknown suspect called in a bomb threat in the 1600 block of 7th Street. In the 1000 block of MLK Jr. Boulevard, in a case of criminal mischief a known person damaged another person’s property. In a robbery case, in the 4000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, possibly known suspects assaulted a person and took his phone. At Roosevelt Street and Smith Hill Road, a known person threatened a victim with a firearm. In the 3600 block of Sage Lane, two juveniles assaulted one another. A case of harassment was reported in the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard. In the 2900 block of Old Houston Road, a possibly known suspect damaged a person’s property. A known suspect assaulted a family member in the 1200 block of Josey Street. At State Highway 19 and State Highway and State Highway 75 South, Taren Wright was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. At the same address, Austin Cox was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On Saturday, in the 100 block of I-45, in a commercial burglary, unknown suspects broke into a building and stole property. An unknown suspect assaulted a person in the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue.
On Sunday, in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, an unknown person stole a person’s catalytic converter. In the 3600 block of Montgomery Road, a possibly known suspect attempted to use counterfeit currency to purchase items. In a case of criminal mischief, in the 2800 block of Lake Road, a known suspect damaged a vehicle. A sexual assault was reported in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue. Glora Alla was arrested for assault in family violence in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows. In the 1000 block of 13th Street, Terron Johnathon Gambrell was arrested for criminal trespass. In the 200 block of I-45 South, K. Alexander was arrested for narcotics. In the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks Drive, Laderian Keshawn McGowan was arrested for burglary of a habitation and evading.
