In Huntsville Police news looking back over the past several days:
On Wednesday, three thefts were reported—one in the 100 block of I-45 South, the second in the 1200 block of Josey and a third in the 2000 block of 11th Street. Three cases of criminal mischief were reported—one in the 1000 block of 11th Street, a second in the 100 block of Avenue M and a third in the 200 block of I-45. Howard Roper was arrested in the 1500 block of Dogwood for DWI 3rd more more. In the 1900 block of Normal Park, Justin Wallace was arrested for assault of a family member with previous convictions and possession of marijuana. In the 2100 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Yoronda Huery was arrested for terroristic threat against a peace officer and judge and resisting arrest.
On Friday, a theft was investigated in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. In the 1400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, marijuana was found and secured at the police department. In the 600 block of Hillcrest Drive, a known suspect assaulted a person by offensive touch. In the 1500 block off 11th Street, a juvenile was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Donna Kay Tenney was arrested for theft with two or more previous convictions.
On Saturday, in the 1000 block of US 190, a person forcibly entered a building and stole electrical equipment. In the 1900 block of Normal Park Drive, in a theft, a person removed wheels from a vehicle. In the 2800 block of Lake Road, a known suspect entered a person’s residence and sexually assaulted the victim.
On Sunday, in the 900 block of 9th Street, in a case of criminal trespass an unknown person forcibly entered a victim’s property without consent. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 400 block of Mary Avenue. In the 100 block of I-45 South, an unknown person allegedly attempted to run over a victim with their vehicle.
On Sunday, Melquan Hicks was arrested in the 2800 block of Lake Road for assault in family violence and possession of a controlled substance. D’Andre Ruhad Wallace was arrested in the 600 block of 6th Street for DWI 3rd more more. In the 2400 block of Avenue I, Jonathan Wayne Hardy was arrested for DWI with a child under 15.
