In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Thursday, property was reported stolen in the 1500 block of 11th Street. Money was reported stolen in the 100 block of I-45 South. In a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 100 block of Brunch Avenue. In a disturbance call, in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, a known suspect assaulted a victim and violated bond conditions. In the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, a known suspect forced entry into a residence and assaulted a person. In a stabbing case, in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Jakyla Holmes was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Friday, two thefts were reported—one in the 200 block of I-45 South and the other in the 300 block of Bearkat Boulevard. In the 2700 block of Chimney Rock Road, a person assaulted another person with a tire iron. In the 600 block of I-45 North, Jonny Tunstall was arrested for a TDCJ parole warrant.
On Saturday, an assault was investigated in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road. In a burglary case, in the 800 block of Ryan’s Ferry Road, a known suspect forcibly entered a residence. Property was damaged in the 600 block of Avenue J in a case of criminal mischief. Money was reported stolen by an unknown suspect in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Tristan Dean Cullens was arrested for DUI-Minor and possession of a controlled substance.
On Sunday, property was reported stolen in the 200 block of Johnson Road. In the 1400 block of Hill Pine, a known suspect offensively touched a person. An assault was investigated in the 2500 block of Sam Houston. There were two assaults in family violence reported—one in the 300 block of Blue Crane and the other in the 1000 block of 11th Street.
On Monday, a known suspect threatened and harassed people in the 3000 block of Paul Knox Road. Dwayne Ruffin was arrested for failure to ID as a fugitive and Driving While License Suspended in the 200 block of FM 2821 East. In the 700 block of Avenue G, Lonnie Adams was arrested for possession of marijuana. In the 200 block of State Highway 75 North, Donna Peck was arrested for municipal warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia and bribery.
