Sam Houston State University has once again placed among the best of the best in rankings from U.S. News & World Report. The new rankings reflect the university’s continued dedication to providing high-quality, affordable education to all.
The annual report lists the best colleges in the country, breaking down academic program performance, social mobility, student to professor ratios and other factors. The rankings evaluated more than 1,700 U.S. colleges and universities using up to 17 factors to measure academic quality and graduate success.
SHSU ranked in tying at:
- No. 52 in Social Mobility (tied)
- No. 145 in Top Public Schools (tied)
- No. 254 in Undergraduate Business (tied)
- No. 257 in National Universities (tied)
- No. 340 Undergraduate Nursing (tied)
- No. 329 Undergraduate Psychology (tied)
