In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, an unknown suspect threatened a person with a handgun in the 500 block of I-45 South. An unlocked vehicle was burglarized in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. An electric bike was stolen in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue. An unknown suspect stole a person’s mail packages in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A known suspect was reported to have touched a person in an offensive manner in the 2600 block of El Toro. A vehicle that was reported stolen in Louisiana was recovered in the 200 block of I-45 North. In a case of criminal mischief, an unknown person damaged a vehicle in the 300 block of Sara Lane. An assault was investigated in the 1500 block of 11th Street. At Highway 30 East and State Highway 19, Jatavian Caldwell was arrested for evading with a vehicle, tampering, theft, and possession of marijuana.
On Friday, in a report from the 2600 block of El Toro, a known suspect was reported to have stalked a person. In the 3100 block of Montgomery Road, an unknown suspect stole money by deception. A theft was investigated in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. An assault was reported in the 1500 block of 7th Street. Christian Orona was arrested on a PD warrant in the 500 block of FM 2821 West. Neely Rice was arrested for forgery and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows.
On Saturday, a theft was investigated in the 3100 block of Elks Drive. In the 1000 block of Thomason Street, Marc Posey was arrested for DWI 3rd or more.
On Sunday, in the 2500 block of Avenue M, Kenisha Shield was arrested for assault and resisting arrest. In the 400 block of Gibbs, an individual reported he had lost a firearm. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Benjamin Cruz was arrested for public intoxication, resisting and terroristic threat. In the 2800 block of Lake Road, Keishan Johnson was arrested for trespassing, interfering and evading.
