In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Friday, an offense that occurred earlier but was reported Friday, involved a motorist pointing a firearm at an another motorist at the 116 mile marker of I-45 Southbound. Known suspects stole merchandise in the 200 block of I-45 South. In a case of criminal mischief in the 1000 block of 12th Street, a possibly known suspect damaged property. At a store located in the 100 block of I-45 South an unknown suspect made serious threats towards the safety of the store. An unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of 7th Street. A known suspect threatened a victim in the 600 block of State Highway 75 North. Fungai Gavi was arrested for evading in a vehicle in the 100 block of FM 247.
On Saturday, a known suspect assaulted and harassed a person in the 5000 block of Sam Houston. In the 1200 block of Josey Street, a known suspect allegedly displayed a knife while threatening a family member. A residential burglary was investigated in the 300 block of Bearkat Boulevard. In the 900 block of State Highway 19, Michael Fisher was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Sunday, Christopher Clark was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest in the 1500 block of 11th Street. Money was reported stolen in the 3000 block of State Highway 30 West. A known suspect assaulted a family member causing injury in the 3600 block of Boettcher Drive. A theft was reported in the 100 block of I-45 South.
On Monday, marijuana was found and turned into HPD in the 100 block of I-45 South. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2400 block of Lake Road. In a case of criminal mischief, a vehicle was damaged in the 500 block of Cline Street. In the 900 block of Avenue J, Michael Wayne Barnes was arrested for assault of a family member with previous convictions. Bryant Flores was arrested for assault in family violence in the 200 block of I-45 South. A juvenile and Oscar Calles-Martinez were arrested for racing on a highway in the 400 block of US 190.
Early Tuesday, in the 1500 block of 11th Street, David Ramirez was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
