KIAH Channel 39 reports that last Thursday morning an accident involving a TDCJ van and a pickup truck resulted in multiple injuries in Walker County.
According to the Walker County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, the crash occurred on FM 980 near Huntsville.
Among the multiple injuries reported, some of the victims were transported to local hospitals by ambulance and a medical helicopter.
FM 980 was closed in both directions. It was reopened by 10:30 AM Thursday.
