At this week’s session of Commissioners’ Court an agenda item under the auditor category said, “Receive certified estimates and receive preliminary calculation of the No-New-Revenue tax rate and Voter-Approval Tax Rate from the Walker County Appraisal District; Assessor submits the appraisal roll or certified estimates for the taxing unit showing total appraised, assessed, and taxable values of all properties and the taxable value of all new property; Submission of Roll to Governing Body; No-New Revenue and Voter Approval Tax Rates.”
