The city is moving forward on trying to save on electric rates for Huntsville.
At this week’s council session, there was an agenda item regarding consideration and possible action to approve an ordinance authorizing participation with other Entergy Service Area Cities in matters concerning Entergy Texas and authorizing the hiring of lawyers and rate experts and the City’s participation at the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
City Attorney Leonard Schneider informed councilmembers.
Councilmembers voted to waive a second reading and approved the agenda item.
