In Walker County Commissioners Court Monday, Jail Captain John Davila passed along to commissioners that, following DPS’s examination of the jail’s fingerprinting system, they said to immediately remove it.
The jail will be getting a new up-to-date system. Captain Davila informed commissioners.
Commissioners approved the purchase of the new system. The cost will be $5,900, and it will come from general fund contingency.
