The Huntsville Item reports that on Tuesday several arrests were made by the Huntsville Police Department for drug possession, weapons offenses and aggravated robbery. This follows a long investigation by HPD.
Three individuals were arrested at a residence on Avenue M in Huntsville. They include 20-year-old Joshua Jackson, 17-year-old Ladarrin Wallace and 28-year-old Marquise Harrison. Detectives secured a search warrant, according to Lt. Wade Roberts, after evidence was obtained that there were narcotics and illegal weapons at the Avenue M residence.
All three suspects were arrested for possession of marijuana. Jackson was also charged with Evading Arrest, possession of a prohibited weapon, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Out of Dallas County, there was also an outstanding warrant for Jackson for Robbery.
During the execution of the warrant evidence located indicated that Jackson, Wallace and Harrison were involved in an Aggravated Robbery that happened on September 7th, 2024 at the Quic-Pic gas station at MLK and 11th Street. Those charges were added following the obtaining of an arrest warrant.
All three of the individuals are at present in the Walker County Jail. The bond set on the Aggravated Robbery charge was for $300,000. As for their other charges, bonds had not been set as of Wednesday afternoon.
