In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Wednesday, two juveniles assaulted one another in the 2800 block of Lake Road. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1700 block of Pleasant Street. In the 1400 block of Windsor, unknown suspects assaulted a person, causing bodily injury. On Howard street, Thomas Freeman was arrested for assault in family violence and unlawful restraint. In the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Lee Bailey Partin was arrested on Municipal Court warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
On Thursday, Robert Guerra was arrested in the 1400 block of 7th Street for possession of marijuana. In the 700 block of I-45, Sergio Sanfilippo was arrested for theft and evading arrest.
On Friday, three cases of criminal mischief where damage was reported took place in the 300 block of Blue Crane, 1600 block of Avenue R and 2300 block of Sam Houston. In the 2600 block of 11th Street, a known suspect stole cash from a register over multiple days. Two commercial buildings were burglarized, one in the 2900 block of Sam Houston and the other in the first 100 block of FM 1791.
On Saturday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 800 block of University Avenue. A theft was reported in the 100 block of I-45 South. In the 1000 block of MLK, Angela Watkins was arrested for criminal trespass.
On Sunday, in the 100 block of Avenue D, a known suspect assaulted a family member by impeding breath. In a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 400 block of FM 2821 West. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1400 block of 21st Street. In a case of burglary, in the 1000 block of Elm Avenue, a known suspect forced his way into a residence and assaulted a person. In a disturbance in the 100 block of I-45 South, as known suspect assaulted a person. In a domestic disturbance, in the 100 block of Evans, Victor Martinez was arrested for 3 counts of assault of a public servant, resisting arrest and assault of a family member. In the 700 clock of I-45 South, Matthew Allison and Kevin Slasor were arrested for burglary of a commercial building.
