At the last Huntsville City Council regular session, City Finance Director Steve Ritter passed along the new tax rate during the public hearing.
Later, during that evening’s session, councilmembers acted on an agenda item in which they would consider ratifying the increased property tax revenues of $1,409,670 reflected in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget as adopted.
Finance Director Steve Ritter and City Attorney Leonard Schneider explained the reason for the agenda item.
The agenda item was approved.
