At the last regular session of the Huntsville City Council, there was a Public Hearing and First Reading on adopting an updated Development Code and Zoning Map. There was much discussion on the issue.
The zoning district plan reviewed had 8 districts, including three residential, three commercial and 2 special districts.
Mayor Russell Humphrey recently commented on the zoning plan under consideration.
