In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past few days:
On Wednesday, in a case of theft, an unknown suspect withdrew money from a bank account. A forgery case was investigated in the 1800 block of Normal Park Drive.
On Thursday, an assault was investigated in the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 500 block of Vicki Drive, a known suspect solicited a person for sexual acts. In a case of criminal mischief, a vehicle was damaged in the 2600 block of El Toro.
Last Friday, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Josey where a known suspect unlawfully carried a firearm. A package was reported stolen out of a mailbox in the 200 block of 7th Street. In the 1400 block of Nottingham, Ja’Niah Wortham was arrested for evading and failure to ID.
On Saturday, in the 500 block of 13th street, a known suspect shot a person who was transported to HCA. Property was reported stolen in the 500 block of FM 2821. In the 600 block of I-45 South, Benjamin Noyd was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
On Sunday, in a case of aggravated assault in the 600 block of 6th Street, a known suspect threatened a person with a weapon. In a case of aggravated assault in the 800 block of 9th Street, a known suspect assaulted a person causing serious injury. An unknown person threatened a person in a terroristic threat in the 700 block of Hickory.
