At this week’s regular Huntsville City Council session, councilmembers considered a resolution authorizing the city manager to execute contracts and agreements with the State of Texas for the implementation of improvements to the Huntsville Municipal Airport, more specifically described as the pavement rehabilitation of runway 18/36 to include design and construction services.
Planner and Airport Manager Layne Yeager informed councilmembers about the improvements.
He added, “A joint between state and federal funding and the ten percent match, they’ll be over the next two years with the city match.
Councilmembers approved the resolution.
