In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past few days:
Last Friday, in the 100 block of I-45, an unknown suspect stole a vehicle and a firearm. In the 300 block of Roundabout, a known suspect harassed a person. Property was reported stolen in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. Roomates assaulted one another in the 2800 block of Lake Road. Property was stolen from a job site in the 3200 block of Robinson Creek Parkway. A firearm was located in the 200 block of I-45 South and secured at the police department. Property was reported stolen in the 3000 block of Pine Grove. Anthony Goerke was arrested for assault on a family member in the 1300 block of State Highway 75 North.
On Saturday, in the 1400 block of Avenue B a possibly known suspect damaged a vehicle. In the 100 block of I-45 South, a firearm was turned in and secured at the police department. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 100 block of I-45 South. A residential burglary was investigated in the 7000 block of Highway 75 South. The sexual assault of a minor was investigated in the 500 block of FM 2821 West. Frederick Brown was arrested for assault of a family member in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road.
On Sunday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 1500 block of 11th Street. In a case of fraud, in the 300 block of Sara Lane, an unknown suspect scammed a person out of money. A residential burglary was investigated in the 3000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. Property was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Josey Street. A firearm was stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of 11th Street. In the 500 block of Bowers Boulevard, a known suspect assaulted a family member and attempted to impede their breathing.
