The notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of Texas has been amended to include Public Assistance for the following areas: Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker Counties for all categories of Public Assistance.
For in person FEMA assistance and resource information, visit the Disaster Recovery Center at 455 Highway 75 North behind the Walker County Storm Shelter. It’s open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM with no appointment necessary.
