At this week’s regular session of the Walker County Commissioners Court, commissioners looked at approval of an upgrade to the County’s phone system. County Purchasing Agent Cheryl Cowart described their present system as obsolete. The project focused on upgrading to a new Cisco Voice Over Internet Protocol phone system.
County IT Director Dan Early addressed the court regarding the system.
The vendor will be E-Consortium at a cost of $343,644.72.Commissioners approved the purchase.
