Community Impact reports that a proposal for widening FM 1486 is being put forth by Montgomery County. They want to go from two lanes to four lanes on 1486 between FM 1774 and Jackson Road.
From 5 to 7 PM, there will be an open house regarding the project on Thursday, April 4th at the Magnolia Event Center.
Part of the proposed widening includes outside shoulders, a raised median, bicycle and pedestrian accommodations and drainage by way of a roadside ditch.
Those who visit the open house will be able to review the project materials, watch a prerecorded presentation, submit written comments and ask questions.
Beginning April 3rd at 5 PM, a virtual open house will be available at isaniconsultants.com/FM1486.
