Community Impact recently passed along several ongoing transportation projects in the Montgomery and Conroe area.
They include:
–Highway 105 which has widening and reconstruction underway for two to four lanes in Conroe between 10th Street to South 336.
A TxDOT update from March indicates the project as 22% complete. The $51.83 million project is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter of 2027. The project uses state funding.
–Highway 242 which is undergoing widening between I-45 and FM 1488,
This month TxDOT says it’s 12% complete. The $28.67 million project is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2026., It’s funded with state and federal funds.
–Highway 105 is undergoing widening and reconstruction from two to four lanes between South Loop 336 and FM 1484.
The $88.47 million project is slated to be completed during the third quarter of 2027. It’s funded by federal and state funds.
–FM 1486 has base repairs and overlay underway between FM 1774 and Highway 105.
The $4.57 million project has a completion date of the third quarter of 2024. It’s funded with state funds.
