In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Saturday, a theft was reported in the 100 block of Kyle Drive. In a case of aggravated assault in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, an unknown suspect struck a person with a bottle. In the 200 block of I-45, an identified person left children unattended in a vehicle. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Wendy Corner was arrested for theft, and in the 600 block of FM 2821 West she was arrested for prohibited substance in a correctional facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a dangerous drug.
On Sunday, police investigated a vehicle burglary in the 1600 block of Holly. In the 300 block of Crown Point Drive, a known suspect assaulted a person. Police investigated a vehicle burglary in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 1300 block of Sycamore, a known suspect assaulted a person, causing injury. At State Highway 75 North and FM 2821 West, Santos Blandon was arrested for evading arrest with a vehicle. In the 100 block of I 45 North, East Frontage Road, Daquanston Paley was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
On Monday, a known person assaulted family members in the 1300 block of Sycamore Avenue. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1600 block of Woodland Valley Drive. A vehicle was reported damaged in a case of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. Also, in the 1300 block of Smither Drive, William Gonzalez and Miguel Medero were arrested on multiple charges in regard to a stolen vehicle.
On Tuesday, three assaults were reported: a person was assaulted in the 2000 block of Avenue S, a known person assaulted their victim by threat in the 2500 block of Avenue M, and in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, a known person assaulted their victim by impeding their breath.
