The Courier of Montgomery County reports that several new restaurants are coming to the Montgomery County area.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers is set to open in Conroe in mid-April at 1413 North Loop 336 close to the Conroe Wal-Mart store. This restaurant features frozen custard and thin burgers that are crispy on the side.
Ground has already been broken for a McDonald’s at 749 Fish Creek Thoroughfare in Montgomery. For the Johnson Community, this will be their first quick-service restaurant. It will open during the first half of this year.
A new Waffle House is coming to Conroe at 906 West Davis Street near downtown Conroe. Construction will get underway for the 1,840-square-foot building in December and will be complete around June 1, 2025. In September of 1955, their first Waffle House was introduced in Georgia. They have almost 2,000 locations.
Crust Pizza will be opening in Conroe at 449 South Loop 336 in the Kroger Marketplace complex on the south side of the city in the Fall of 2024. The work on the 2,977-square-foot pizza restaurant will begin soon. It will be situated in the same building as First Watch brunch spot and Summer Moon coffee. There are almost a dozen Crust Pizza’s in Montgomery County.
This summer, a new Chipotle Mexican Grill will be coming to the Texas 242 area on 16966 Concord Drive. It’s a 2,316-square-foot quick-service restaurant which features tacos that are customizable and burritos and bowls, using fresh ingredients. They operate over 2,300 restaurants nationwide.
