Taking a look at Huntsville Police news during the past few days:
On Monday, property was reported stolen in the 300 block of Highway 75 North, the 2500 block of Lake Road and 900 block of Veterans Parkway. Two vehicle burglaries were investigated– one in the 2300 block of Normal Park and the second in the 2600 block of El Toro. Two stolen vehicles were reported recovered in the 600 block of Hayman. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1400 block of 14th Street. Robert Mambo was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 3300 block of Powell Road. He was also arrested for theft of a firearm, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance, tampering, possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous drug. At the same address, Jaikeese Barnes was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was also arrested for theft of a firearm, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance, tampering, possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous drug. At the same address, Elaysha Harrison was arrested on four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, theft of a firearm, theft of property, possession of a controlled substance, tampering, possession of marijuana and possession of a dangerous drug. In the 400 block of Johnson Road, Raven Sanders was arrested for aggravated assault with serious bodily injury and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Tuesday, in the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a known person threatened another and damaged property. In the 400 block of Brookhollow, a firearm was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. In the 100 block of Hazel, Jeromy Shannon was arrested on two felony warrants, five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, resisting arrest with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, evading arrest with a previous conviction and taking a weapon from a police officer.
On Wednesday, a sexual assault by a known suspect was investigated in the 100 block of Bolero Way.
