At Commissioners’ Court Tuesday, in order to maintain their momentum of improving operations at the County’s EMS department, EMS Director Rachel Parker discussed taking action on removing the translation software feature from their ESO Solutions account in the amount of $990 dollars a year and replacing it with what is called ESO activities software which costs $1,195 a year. Money would come from the EMS budget.
Ms. Parker explained the benefits of using the activities feature:
Among a number of other helpful features, additionally she said, “Any class that we teach in community outreach, we can schedule that into the activity portion and it would go directly to all the district chiefs, any crew that’s involved, any station that’s involved.”
Commissioners approved the agenda item.
