Illegal drug use, possession or distribution is still a prevalent crime in Walker County, as in numerous other locations in the U-S. Out of 32 Walker County Grand Jury indictments for December of 2023, 12 were for drug charges.
Seven controlled substance arrests were for the possession of Meth. One was for manufacture/ delivery of Meth. Two were for possession of cocaine. One was for possession of Psilocin. One for possession of PCP.
