The Courier of Montgomery County reports a lot of voter activity at Montgomery County polling centers for the elections on November 7th, and that Conroe ISD’s $1.9 billion bond package attracted several voters. Proposition A was approved with 61.08% voting on it, supporting the biggest cost which was new school construction and extensive remodeling. There will be eight new school facilities built along with eight additional renovations and additions at a cost of $1.8 billion.
Passing with 58.34% of the proposition voters approving it was Proposition B, which funds technology like laptop and desktop computers and iPads at a cost of $40 million.
