Community Impact has passed along some events coming up in Montgomery and Conroe over the weekend:
–A Gift Expo is being held by the Ladies Association of Walden featuring 40 vendors on November 3rd from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Walden Yacht Club at 13101 Melville Drive in Montgomery. It’s free.
–A free family nature and health event, “Walk with a Doc,” is coming up at the W.G. Jones State Forest on November 4th from 9 AM to 2 PM. It’s a walk and talk led by a physician through forest trails. Kids activities are included. The address is 1328 FM 1488 in Conroe.
–A free fall market featuring 45 artisan vendors will offer live music, craft beer, and food trucks on November 4th from noon to 5 PM at the B-52 Brewery at 12470 Milroy Lane in Conroe.
–A “Field of Dreams Fundraiser” to support Cherokee Outlaw Ranch’s goal of adopting abused horses to train to offer equine therapy for children and women who have been victims of abuse will be offered by the ranch on November 4th from 3 to 8 PM at 91 Scott Lane in Willis. The event will include pony rides, horseback riding, a vendor market, live music, food trucks and a petting zoo. It’s $10 for children and $40 for adults.
–Those who attend the free West Conroe Baptist Church’s 12th Annual Winter Market can shop from about 60 local vendors on November 4th from 9 AM to 3 PM at 1855 Longmire Road in Conroe.
–Previous champions and contestants from “Forged in Fire” on the History Channel, including “Forged-in-Fire” celebrity participant Doug Marcaida, will be featured by the Texas Custom Knife Show. At the event people will have the opportunity to forge their own knife. There’ll be vendors and music. It’s November 4th from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Lone Star Convention Center at 9055 Airport Road in Conroe. The cost is $16 to $42.
