The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is announcing this year’s author lineup for the National Book Awards Festival at SHSU.
On Sept. 19, Bearkats of all ages can come to the Lowman Student Center White Ballroom at 6 p.m.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Tomás Q. Morín, author of a poetry collection titled “Machete,”
Authors include:
Darcie Little Badger. Her critically acclaimed debut novel, “Elatsoe,” was featured in TIME magazine.
Roger Reeves is the author of the poetry collections “King Me” and “Best Barbarian.”
Marytza K. Rubio’s debut collection, “Maria, Maria: And Other Stories,” was long listed for the National Book Award for Fiction.
