According to the November 7, 2023 Candidate Required Filings on the City of Huntsville’s website, two candidates have filed applications to run for mayor. The candidates are Ward #2 Councilmember Russell Humphrey and John Jafreh.
Tore Fossum has applied to run for the Ward #1 position on the council.
Casey Cox has filed to run for the Ward #2 position on the council.
Yolanda M. Scott, has now field to run for Ward #2.
Anissa Antwine has now filed for the Ward #3 council position.
Incumbent Councilmember Jon Skelly Strong is the only person to apply for the Ward #4 council position.
The candidate application filing deadline is today at 5 PM.
