MAN DIES FROM SHOOTING AT HUNTSVILLE APARTMENT

On Saturday, July 22, at 9:50 PM, Huntsville Police and the Walker County EMS responded to a reported shooting at The Republic Apartments located in the 2500 block of Lake Road. One male victim was located at the scene. Treatment began, and he was transported to the emergency room where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Detectives are interviewing other involved parties, and the incident is under investigation. The Huntsville Police Department strongly urges anyone with information to contact Sgt.
