If you’re interested in a fun event for your children. You might be interested in coming to “Book a Dog,” a literacy initiative held in collaboration with Pets with a Mission and Huntsville Public Library. This program will be held from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, July 24 in the Rex Children’s Room of Huntsville Public Library. Two animal teams from “Pets with a Mission” will be at the Library for quick one-on-one reading sessions with trained therapy dogs. This program is best suited for ages 5 to 12. No sign-up is required as the dogs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for one hour. Signed waiver forms are required to participate.
