The Huntsville Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet this evening at six in the Hawkins Administration Building.
Superintendent Dr. Scott Sheppard will deliver his briefing regarding district events and items of community interest.
There will be an introduction of new administrative staff.
Matthew Lahey will present his monthly digital report.
Included in the evening’s “Consent Agenda” will be Board approval to renew the Achieve 3000 Literacy program; Board approval of the Principal Coaching and Mentoring Program and Board approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment to Prime Contractors, Incorporated, contract for the New Scott Johnson Elementary School (the former Huntsville Intermediate School Building), Staff Learning Center (the former Scott Johnson Elementary School) HVAC and early equipment package bond project.
Also tonight, Assistant Superintendent of Student services and Operations, Bill Roberts, will present to the Board for approval, the Hornet Return to School Plan 23-24 and the District Safety and Security Report.
