As digitalization has moved into the necessary functions of everyday business and governmental operation throughout the world, it’s increasing expense in the form of necessary updated software has been the evolving consequence.
Our county government is no exception. We recently asked Walker County County Judge Colt Christian, “It looks like more and more, I-T software seems to be coming up to purchase. Have you noticed that? Is that becoming a big expense for the county?”
According to Gartner, Incorporated, a research and advisory firm, worldwide IT spending is expected to increase 5.5% this year.
